The Jyväskylänian out of the loop eccentrics RIVETTE return rocking hard (or hardly rocking). This time with the second single off their upcoming debut album True Distance, coming out on Full Contact Records.

"White Collar Dog" deals with the disillusioning adversities of making a living. Eventually the cracks begin to show and the discord between hope for tomorrow and the daily grind grows deafening. Are there any dreams left worth saving?

The boys in the band had this to say: "Musically this is more or less where we've been at for the last five years. Treading the well-charted territories of NORMAL ROCK. Quite simply think what Knopfler would have done and throw the odd Thin Lizzyisms into the mix and you've got yourself a song. Uncool music for cool people (like us). Oh and we have absolutely no idea who Jessie is."
